Best of TLAOS-P(fW)

The following is the advice that I would give over and over, every day if I could.  A lot of this is buried in the archives, so thought I would highlight it again.

On relationships:
On developing your best self and being attractive to the opposite sex:
On money:
On unplugging:
According to my Google analytics stats, the only one of the above to be a top viewed page is "Do not embrace your inner slut."  The other top pages are:

  1. I'm a long time lurker. Don't volunteer for single motherhood and do not confuse being difficult with being strong have been my favorites.

  2. Beautiful body of work, Gerp. I admire you and all that you do. A young lady would do well to read your work and think hard about her choices during her youth.

Young ladies mores have changed so much since I was a teen in the 70's.

Like you, I, too, have a son. He is now 16 and since he was small he has spoken about his desire for a (large) family when he grows up. He has a big heart, honors, big football player etc, but is clearly beta male. I read about the treatment of men at the hands of unscrupulous woman and I fear for my trusting son.

My husband, strong silent type, works extremely long hours. He does the best he can to be a family man despite the psychically diseased (read: crazy & cruel) mother he had. He has a good relationship with our son centered on sports. However, he will not be able to teach our son about confidence and women.

Any analogous blog to yours for teen boys?

  4. Grerp, I am a young brazilian woman (25), and I am so happy that I found your blog still in time to think about my choices.
Please don't notice my bad english.
I noticed that this american culture is becoming popular among us young, high educated, financially independent woman in Brazil. And i always felt something was wrong, that brazilian women are losing what foreign men like about us: our feminity and family values.
We are copying the american way in its worst.

  5. Emilia - Welcome! Thanks for leaving your thoughts. You should feel proud of your English; it is very good. I agree with you that what America is largely exporting now - its feminism and consumerism - is complete junk. Stick with your instincts.

Viliam - My husband would like me to write a book. I'm thinking about it. I feel hampered by my desire to stay anonymous. Honestly, I would go under my real name, but if I did I would not be able to get a job in my field if/when I need to go back to work.

Anonymous - I feel for your son and for your desire to protect him. I think that young men are particularly vulnerable these days. I'm not sure there is a direct corollary to my blog for young men. I will look around. Perhaps someone else has a suggestion?

  6. Oh, I have been getting your name wrong. Sorry, Grerp.

Your work is truly groundbreaking and I second the idea of a book .. or, oh this would be beautiful, an series of audios in podcast or a video series on the Right Network!

    Good luck.

  7. I think a book would be better, because it would be easier to save and read it with my daughter someday...

  8. The Western world exporting liberal diverse progressive democracy dogma in combination with consumerism, individualism, hedonism, nihilism, relativism and feminism is one of the worst things ever. I'm an ex-evangelical Christian and more of us are seeing how heretical evangelicalism has become to Christianity. I think Grerp would be astonished at how corrupted by Enlightement ideals evangelicalism is. Concerning the Westernization of Brazil this was inevitable as women moved up the corporate ladder and became aggressive, promiscuous, independent women. About high education I would pretty much say I'm 99% sure that the educational system in general has been taken captive by liberals in the Western world and therefore they would influence your system sooner or later unless there was some form of resistance.
